Country Manager
Areas of responsibilities:
The position:
Reporting to the Far East Regional Director, you will play a crucial role in establishing the company as the preferred terminal, LNG and port towage operator in China and be responsible for cultivating & delivering on ambitious growth targets.
In addition, you have full profit and loss responsibility for China and will oversee general management of three terminal and harbour contracts in ports around China.
Key responsibility:
-Overall responsible for the management of commercial and operational aspects of existing businesses in the designated geographical areas
-Perform strategic planning and seek new business development opportunities such as to establish new strategic alliances or joint ventures with current partner / s or customer related affiliates
-Proactively gather market intelligence/ business leads and develop comprehensive entry strategies to targeted markets
-Display an entrepreneurial flair and pursue the delivery of new businesses while at the same time raising the profile of the THE COMPANY brand in China
-Actively seek and develop key strategic relations with customers, potential clients, business leaders, partners and government authorities across China
-Responsible for corporate governance, HR management, accounting and reporting for all operations in the area to Regional Office or Global HQ
-Ensure successful implementation of new projects secured in the area, including incorporation and licensing of new joint venture companies, financing, setting up of shore management organization with oversight for vessels to be built for the new project, recruiting of crew, implementing of HSE systems and World class HR initiatives and successful operation once contract commences.
You must have:
-Bachelor degree holder with solid vessel operational experience preferably in towage/offshore industry
-Highly commercial and you are a strong leader, motivator & problem solver with successful track record in general management
-Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and planning skills.
-Fluent in English and Mandarin
